Remarketing – How it is Used by Businesses to Gain Traction for Their Brands

Remarketing is a marketing strategy which typically will utilise a service like google adwords to reach people who are interested in your website but aren’t searching through a search engine.

An example would be of somebody interested in a safari holiday looking at blogs providing advice on the subject; where a company (which provides safari holidays) can pay to have their ad displayed to that visitor. This is the standard display ad option all google pay-per-click advertisers get to use.

What separates remarketing from this is where you include an element of tracking as well. By using third-party software, a company can track visitors who’ve gone to their website around the rest of the internet; so that in the event they leave the website without paying for products or services, display network advertisements can be used to target people who continue to search for those products and services. This will hopefully go a long ways towards making the company’s brand synonymous with the products in the eyes of the potential customer, helping to greatly enhance the conversion rates of their advertising.
