Offline Marketing vs Online Marketing – Part 2

A continuation from our post earlier this week.

Online Marketing

The impact of online marketing has grown massively over the past few years, hence the shift from print advertising to paid advertising on search engines for example.

SEO and PPC is one example where it’s cheaper to advertise online compared to print, which explains the massive shift in direction for a lot of companies.

Social Media is also another aspect of online marketing, with a lot of companies focusing on advertising to interested customers via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+. Can be time consuming, but also very rewarding in terms of the amount of money saved.

The other benefit of online marketing is the likelihood of instant conversions. You can track and analyse results and see what style of advertising online enticed your customer. This will help in future campaigns.
